Pamela weds as Bloom is star guest at pals' big day
IT was a weekend that rung with wedding bells on both sides of the Border as Pamela Flood walked down the aisle and A-list actor Orlando Bloom watched pals get hitched.
Former Off The Rails presenter Pamela wed her partner Ronan Ryan in Dublin on Saturday, and a string of famous faces were there to help the pair celebrate their big day.
The mother of two and restaurateur Ryan, who have been together six years, chose to host the humanist ceremony at the exclusive Number 10 on Ormond Quay.
Pamela's former co-anchor Caroline Morahan was among the guests, as were sisters Grainne and Sile Seoige and Lorraine Keane.
Meanwhile, Lord of The Rings star Bloom touched down in Co Down for the marriage of two friends on Friday.
The former husband of Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr was a guest at the wedding of actor Flora Montgomery at her ancestral home of Greyabbey, in Co Down.
She wed Danish restaurateur Soren Jessen.
Bloom, wearing a navy suit with patterned shirt and mustard tie, mingled with fellow guests after the service and happily posed for pictures with excited onlookers, including a female police officer.
The 37-year-old was also seen walking on the arm of a mystery female companion in the Greyabbey grounds.
Afterwards, he headed to a traditional pub in Donaghadee with a group of guests, where he got to unwind away from the cameras.
Other guests at the lavish affair included Crown Princess Mary of Denmark and her husband Crown Prince Frederik.
Bloom confirmed the end of his marriage to Australian beauty Kerr last October. The couple have a three-year-old son, Flynn.
The Hollywood star has been pictured in the company of a number of beautiful women in recent months since announcing his split from Kerr.
