Noble life brought to big screen
IT took six years to per suade her, but Christina Noble is "overwhelmed and delighted" she agreed to bring her life to the big screen.
The charity campaigner saw her name in lights last night as she was honoured with a star-studded premiere of Noble.
The Stephen Bradley-directed film, which chronicles Noble's story from a young girl in Dublin to when she arrived in Vietnam to help thousands of children build a better life, screened at the Savoy cinema.
The red carpet was rolled out for the event, and despite the many famous faces in attendance, it was the woman herself who drew the most attention.
"I don't do things quickly and I need to know the people are sincere," Noble told the Irish Independent.
"I'm not into the showbusiness life and I was asked by producers in the US before, but it just felt right."
