THINGS may be winding down for his singing career with Westlife, but Nicky Byrne has been getting in some TV gigs before hanging up his microphone.
The dad-of-two is set to feature on a revived version of ITV1's All Star Mr & Mrs later this year, after recording in London on Monday night in between the group's sell-out concerts.
Joined by his wife Georgina (33) on the programme, the couple are one of the latest celebrity couples to compete for cash prizes for a charity of their choice.
Viewers will see the Dubliner and brunette beauty Georgina answer questions about each other in a bid to bag €35,000.
Nicky is not the first Irish star to take part in the show -- in 2008, Boyzone singer Ronan Keating appeared with his wife Yvonne, while band mate Keith Duffy and spouse Lisa also featured.
Other well-known names tipped to be quizzed on camera for this brand new instalment include Michael Owen and Rachel Stevens.
Taking to his social networking site after filming, Nicky thanked broadcaster Phillip Schofield for a great night. "We absolutely loved it."
