So how did they rate?
THE X Factor Live Tour isn't your average gig. It's the TV show without the judges. And Dermot. And the prize. So let's take a closer look at the performances and see which contestant is ready for the big time. (Scores rated 1-10; 10 being the highest).
Matt Cardle: 4
I'd say the guy has painted walls with more personality. He looks like he's been dragged against his will to sing at a wedding. And if you're gonna pretend to play the guitar, try to keep up with the track.
Cher Lloyd: 5
At least she makes an effort. Bit scary, though. Might want to ditch the Avril Lavigne tunes.
Aiden Grimshaw: 5
This one's a bit intense, isn't he? The voice could very well save him, though.
One Direction: 7
Hmmm, getting a little help in the vocal department, are we? Messing up a few dance steps and ... oh, who cares? These lads will be HUGE.
Mary Byrne: 8
A truly talented vocalist and one of the only acts tonight who doesn't try too hard. She doesn't need to.
Katie Waissel: 3
Anyone else notice that nervous little wave every five seconds? Me too. Anyone else notice anything talented about the girl? Me neither.
Christ almighty -- the man is actually real. And scarier than Cher. At least it's kind of strangely entertaining.
Paije Richardson: 5
This one may just slip from our minds quicker than the others, but at least he's fun.
Rebecca Ferguson: 7
Leona Lewis would want to watch her back. That's all I'm saying.
