Katy uses the back door before glam slam show

KATY Perry is considered one of the hottest women on the planet, and she is clearly keen to keep it that way.

The singer arrived in Dublin yesterday in very low-key fashion -- and was smuggled through the back entrance of her hotel wearing a polka dot dressing gown, her handlers covering her face with a pink towel so as to avoid the glare of the cameras.

The Teenage Dreams singer was clearly eager to avoid having yet another unflattering snap of her being posted without make-up, like her husband Russell Brand did earlier this year.

However, a more familiar looking Perry emerged later on in the evening, looking every inch the glamour queen, before taking to the O2 for her one-night-only performance in Ireland.

Despite her initial entrance, she showed that she has not embraced any diva-like behaviour and even travelled to Dublin on a ferry from Liverpool, where she had partied until late the night before.

And the singer wasn't going to disappoint her hordes of fans camped outside her plush Morrison Hotel. She spent time with as many as she could, by signing autographs and taking photos with them.

And Irish fashion followers were not disappointed with her stage attire. The songstress rocked a dress made out of cupcakes, as well as a number of other kooky outfits similar to those she wore in her California Gurls video.

Katy was clearly impressed with her Irish audience, saying afterwards: "Dublin you were gorgeous tonight! I love you."
