Hozier has confirmed he will not perform on stage with Taylor Swift at her sold-out 3Arena gig this evening.
Fans' hopes had been raised by reports suggesting he would be in town to join the 'Bad Blood' singer on stage but the Bray musician revealed to Today FM's Dermot and Dave that he would not.
"We've had a chance to hang out a couple of times, she's good fun," he said, adding, "I won't sadly be in the country for that. That should be a good show. I don't think I've ever seen her play live".
Having just wrapped the UK leg of her tour, Taylor is set to play the first of two sold-out shows at Dublin's 3Arena tonight.
Hozier was on top form at Glastonbury yesterday, wowing on the main stage with a set including hits Work Song, Someone New, and a cover of Arianna Grande's One Less Problem.
Taylor's final UK show of her 1989 world tour featured model pals Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid as well as tennis champ Serena Williams.
Tonight fans can expect 17 songs and seven costume changes from the star.
