Galaxy visit leaves star Niall feeling out of this world
Niall Horan is keeping the LA Galaxy pitch warm for Robbie Keane.
The One Direction star enjoyed a kick-about at the US soccer side's stadium with bandmates Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne.
And he said that taking to the pitch allowed him to realise a childhood dream.
He tweeted: "Massive thanks to LA Galaxy for having us today and allowing us to play in the stadium. Boyhood dreams!"
Galaxy and Ireland skipper Robbie has bagged umpteen goals on the StubHub Centre pitch, and Niall was keen to chip a few balls into the back of the net.
The Mullingar star uploaded a video of his fancy footwork and his delight at scoring a goal – albeit with no keeper to stop it.
After breaking a sweat on the pitch, Niall carried a bucket full of bibs off the field with a mystery brunette. This caused an immediate stir with Directioners, who demanded to know: "Who's she?"
Niall has been linked to several beauties including English singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding, but the 20-year-old says all he's looking for is a girl unfazed by his celebrity status.
Earlier in the week, Niall was knocked to the ground by paparazzi when he flew in to Los Angeles.
He later took to Twitter to vent his frustration.
"I hate the paps!! Just got dragged to the floor by some idiot with a camera! could have seen the fans as well, but they messed it all up!" he wrote.
While Niall is causing a commotion in the States, Robbie is enjoying being back at home.
He was spotted enjoying a spicy meal with his wife Claudine at Indian restaurant Kajjal in Malahide a few nights ago.
