Daniel and Majella O'Donnell have revealed that fans tried to nab the sheets from the bed they slept in on their wedding night.
The couple have been married since 2002 and are about to start filming a new reality travel show for UTV Ireland in which they'll stay in B&Bs up and down the country.
When asked if dedicated fans would be looking to steal sheets or other mementos from places where they'll they stay, Majella said it wouldn't be the first time.
"I think that happened after our wedding, somebody came to the hotel and said could they have the sheets. I don't know if they got them," she said.
The series will be filmed in early July and has already been picked up in the US.
Daniel said he hopes it will strike a chord with viewers at home and abroad.
"We're a mighty island for the size of us, and thankfully Daniel is reasonably well known in America," said Majella.
"They like him and they like his music, and if he gets a chance to talk about the country he's from they'll enjoy that too."
Daniel said: "There'll be people tuning in who don't know anything about me, but might watch a show about a couple touring Ireland, showing off what they feel is good about Ireland."
The couple's B&B hosts will be their guides around the local area, and the pair don't think they'll be mobbed by locals when they're filming.
"Daniel is very accessible and people are used to seeing him," said Majella.
Once filming wraps, the pair are looking forward to welcoming their first grandchild.
Majella's daughter Siobhan (27) is expecting her first child with her fiance Gavin Shields in August.
"We've kept August free in preparation. I'll be going in with her when she's having the baby and holding her hand," said Majella."
