Model mum Kerri shuns the high-flying lifestylein favour of working hard
you would assume that catching the eye of a famous reality TV star would be the ambition of many Irish models - but not Kerri Nicole Blanc.
The sultry mother-of-one sees her job in front of the cameras as simply that and insisted that she's not interested in living it up with the glamorous social set.
"I'm very much a 'go to work and then come home' kind of person - I just see modelling as a job. I'm not into the lifestyle and don't hang out in the hotspots," she told the Diary.
Kerri, who has a three-year-old daughter Kayla, was with AR pal Nicola Hughes over the August bank holiday weekend, when they met television heartthrob Alex Mytton and Jamie Laing during a scheduled appearance at the Naas Court Hotel.
Nicola (23) has since set tongues wagging that she could become the first Irish model to feature on the hit E4 reality show Made In Chelsea, after Alex invited her over to London and also whisked her off to Greece to soak up the sun.
Kerri said that she and Nicola had a long conversation about the TV bad-boy after being introduced to him and that she's glad it's all worked out well.
"I probably shouldn't comment really, she's getting to know him and they've been having a nice holiday - she's home now," Kerri said.
Although she's happy for her fellow catwalk queen, Kildare native Kerri has no interest in following suit.
"I was having none of it, I literally was like, 'Okay I'm off, see you later' and that was that."
Nicola has just returned from her Greek getaway and is now preparing to pack her bags for Vancouver.
The Dubliner is due to fly to Canada to film Exiles, a new reality series on Irish abroad.
Made by Straywave production, Nicola will be joined by Dylan Townsend, the brother of Hollywood actor Stuart.
The rest of the cast is being kept under wraps by RTE and will be revealed at the show's official launch party later this year.
Meanwhile, Kerri is enjoying a busy period in front of the cameras.
A former beauty therapist, she has not ruled out hanging up her heels in the future.
"I've been modelling since I had Kayla and I'll do this while it pays the bills and then I'll see what I'd like to do," she said.
"I'm hoping to go back to college in the next year and study fashion design and fashion buying," she added.
