AS every new parent knows, life post baby can be fairly exhausting. But not for ex-Mr World Kamal Ibrahim.
The Limerick native and his other half Vicky Andeanska welcomed their son Neko in April and male model Kamal told the Diary life has never been better.
He said he’s loving being a new dad, and that he and his partner have been lucky with their easygoing newborn.
“I’m not getting too much sleep, but it’s fine - he’s very good and doing really well,” Kamal said.
The former Celebrity Masterchef contestant left his bundle of joy at home this week to step out for Lisa Fitzpatrick’s latest book launch and arrived solo for the swanky affair, catching up with pals including fellow new parent Andrea Roche.
The catwalk king turned television presenter has been dating Slovakian beauty Vicky, who works as a Zumba Fitness dance instructor, since last summer.
Vicky, based in Greystones, Co Wicklow, moved to Ireland when she was 22 and has been living here for more than six years.
The happy couple met in Dublin and quickly became inseparable, with hunky Kamal even travelling to Slovakia to meet her family.
The couple spend a lot of their free time taking part in extreme outdoor sports.
“We actually met when I was hosting a zumbathon for charity. She is a swimming and dance coach, so it worked out well,” Kamal said.
As well stepping out on stage in the annual Christmas panto, Kamal has established himself as a regular in the TV department of RTE.
In between his fledging career on the small screen, the 28-year-old is practicing for his commercial helicopter license.
