Louise in no rush to walk down the aisle

ENGAGED Louise Duffy has insisted she is far from a bridezilla as she prepares to marry retired footballer Paul Galvin.

The Mayo-born radio presenter has not been over-thinking plans for her big day.

She and the former Kerry star have been dating for nearly three years.

Galvin got down on bended knee while he and Louise were in New York on a romantic getaway, and his bride-to-be showed off her sparkler while on her way to the studio last month.

The proposal came only days after dark-haired Louise (29) was offered her own lunchtime slot on Today FM.

She’s in no rush to organise her wedding just yet, and is instead focusing on her career.

“It’s been a lovely time, and then I started on the show - it’s all been put on the back burner now. We’ll do it at some point,” she told the RTE Guide.

“I won’t be losing my life planning it, I just want it to be a happy time with friends and family. I’m excited about being married to Paul more than the day out,” she said.
