Louis a terrible cook, says disgusted Brian
BRIAN McFadden was shocked by his former Westlife manager Louis Walsh's terrible culinary skills when he invited him on to his TV cooking show.
The 35-year-old singer-turned-presenter is currently filming his new programme, Who's Doing the Dishes, for ITV's daytime schedule.
It sees diners turn up to the house of a celeb and try to figure out who cooked for them while there.
Dad-of-two Brian (inset) got X Factor judge Louis to take the helm of one episode and told the Herald the Mayo music mogul's talents were not up to scratch.
"He did it as a favour because he doesn't cook, so it's a very, very funny show to watch," Dubliner Brian said.
"It's actually quite disturbing, because he tried to make spicy chicken wings, and the only way I could describe it was 'disgusting'.
"He just got these wings that looked like bats and he made a marinade with water, ketchup and mustard and just poured it over and cooked it.
"I'd never seen anyone hand food back and go 'I'm not eating that'."
Despite the unappetising meal Louis served his four guests, Brian insisted he was extremely entertaining.
"I was bowled over laughing all day just listening to the things he was saying, and he was slagging the contestants too," he said.
Brian has recorded 16 of 30 episodes of the series, which will be broadcast over a six-week run, airing five days a week.
"It's been a lot of fun and we're getting great people on it. Louis was one of my ideal candidates, but we've also had some footballers that have these incredible houses that have glass floors overlooking swimming pools and stuff."
Brian is currently based in the UK with DJ and model wife Vogue Williams.
