Jack has battle scars from set of new action film
YOU know you've hit the big time when you suffer - literally - for your work.
Irish actor Jack Reynor has become a bona fide name in Hollywood since starring in director Michael Bay's Transformers: Age of Extinction and the 22-year-old revealed that he left the set of the blockbuster with plenty of battle scars.
Wicklow native Jack dislocated two ribs while shooting the fourth Transformers franchise installment.
"I dislocated two ribs doing the movie and I couldn't breathe for hours," he divulged.
"They had to get a [doctor] to come round to see me."
Good looking Jack is not the first actor to sustain an injury during production.
His Transformers predecessor Shia LaBeouf also suffered an accident while acting out scenes for the popular summer flicks.
He reportedly narrowly escaped going blind in one eye when he collided with a sharp object on the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
Last month, Harrison Ford (71) broke his left leg on set of the latest Star Wars: Episode VII movie, after it was crushed by the film spacecraft Millennium Falcon, while Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence went deaf in one ear for months due to infections caught while filming underwater for The Hunger Games.
Although he's in demand overseas these days, IFTA winner Jack is temporarily back in Dublin following the Irish premiere of the flick last week.
He and his model fiance Madeline Mulqueen invited dozens of friends to The Savoy cinema and the group of pals celebrated by setting out on a pub crawl in the city centre after walking the red carpet.
