Former Miss Ireland Emma Waldron has been carving out quite a career for herself in New York and now she's added another top client to her CV.

The Kildare native has been shooting with top US brand Jordache Jeans, who have recently named Sarah Jessica Parker as one of their brand ambassadors.

Parker is the star of a campaign for their women's line, which is sold exclusively at Walmart.

Emma has modelled this line and her catalogue shots will appear on Walmart's website.

"I had done the shoot with them and then Sarah Jessica was announced as their ambassador so it's incredible to be working with the brand," she told the Diary.

"It's great that my shots will be up on Walmart's site, it's incredible exposure and I'm really excited about it.

"Also the jeans are amazing, I'm so bloody tall and they're so nice and long," she added.

Emma, who qualified as a teacher after winning the Miss Ireland crown, made a move to the States last January. Just a few months and a transformation from a brunette to a blonde later, the 26-year-old has been making waves.

Last month, she was taking bathroom selfies with America's Top Model star Tyra Banks at a glamorous bash.

The party, in aid of the Lower East Side Girls Club Spring Benefit, was held at the Bowery Hotel Terrace.

Emma also met Men in Black actress Rosario Dawson at the benefit.

The model has also been dabbling in acting and shared some snaps of her shooting a film near the Brooklyn Bridge.

Despite being a svelte size 10, Emma is working as a plus-size model in the States.

"My body is my body and it doesn't matter what label they put on it," she said.

She is singed to MSA model agency and they advised her to change her hair colour to get more jobs.

"The agency is fantastic, I've been so lucky with them," she revealed. "And if a colour change is what they feel they need, then I'm more hireable.

"When you take a photo in work you're looking at it like you're a tool or just a hanger for something.

"At the end of the day, someone wants you because of your face and because nobody else has your face."
