I'd love to follow Daniella to LA – beau Dara

HER US visa is in the post and once she has bid adieu to her Celebrity Apprentice co-stars, Kildare model Daniella Moyles will be off to LA.

And it looks like her DJ boyfriend and Spin 103.8 presenter Dara Quilty (25) could be following her.

"I would definitely go over to the States with her," he told The Diary. "Daniella just went for it; flew over and got signed with an agent."

In May, Daniella (24), model boss Andrea Roche and pal Roz Purcell all flew to the City of Angels for a business trip.

And it was only a matter of days before Daniella was snapped up by US talent agency Octagon, which represents stars such as Piers Morgan, Tess Daly and Steve Jones.

Boyfriend Dara says he'd like some of Daniella's can-do attitude. "I tend to over-think things, but she gets on with it," he said. "I should take a leaf out of her book."

Earlier this year, Dara met LA music producers to discuss a collaboration.

"Writing songs is the most important thing," he says.

"I used to be in a band called Fox Avenue and love writing lyrics."

Dara and Daniella have been dating for more than a year and a half, but Dara says he's surprised their paths didn't cross sooner.

"She was Miss Spin in 2007 and was in the station the whole time, but I was working nights. So we didn't meet until two years later."

Dara has been at the station since he was 17 and has worked on a variety of shows from The Zoo crew to Dermot and Dave.

Daniella now has her own risque radio show: Two Girls One Mic.

And while he may have more experience working the airwaves, Dara says he never gives his other half DJing tips.

"I don't want to inflict my ways on her. She knows what she's doing."

Indeed she does – Daniella is filming for Celebrity Apprentice alongside familiar faces Nadia Forde, Edele Lynch and Amanda Brunker. And Dara is also busy DJ-ing and working on his music: "I did a DJ set for Monster Headphones in Everleigh Gardens the other week and it was amazing. It felt great to be in front of the crowd like that."
