How our Dominique is now turning heads on Hollywood red carpet

RISING Irish star Dominique McElligott certainly knows how to turn heads when she appears on the Hollywood red carpet.

The Dubliner arrived yesterday to a second season screening of her hit show Hell On Wheels in Beverly Hills -- and wowed onlookers with her simple, yet stunning, outfit.

Joining her cast mates for the event, held at the Paley Center in LA, the 25-year-old showed off her tiny frame in an off-the-shoulder, figure-hugging ensemble.

She accessorised the bright red dress with grey platform heels and her hair was loosely swept back off her face.

Dominique teamed up with fellow actors Christopher Heyerdahl, Anson Mount, Phil Burke, Robin McLeavy and Common for the star-studded screening of the show.

Debut

She plays leading lady, widowed Lily Bell, on the AMC network show.

The UCD graduate's career has gone from strength to strength over the past five years.

She has bagged several high-profile projects since breaking into the business -- including Amy Adam's flick Leap Year, multi-award winning Moon, with Kevin Spacey, and Blackthorn, with Stephen Rea.

Dominique had her acting debut, alongside actress and author Amy Huberman, in RTE drama On Home Ground, in 2001. She was a secondary school student at the time.

She is probably best known by her many Irish fans for her character Rebecca in Raw although few will forget her saucy role in the Guard, right, with Brendan Gleeson.
