Sheehan wins 'tiny' role for TV classic
Irish actor Robert Sheehan's next role will be a tiny one -- playing one of the Borrowers in a remake of the children's classic.
The 90-minute film, which will be shown on BBC1 this Christmas, is based on Mary Norton's books about tiny people living in secret beneath floorboards.
Sheehan (right) plays Spiller, who teams up with Arrietty Clock, played by Aisling Loftus, when her parents are captured by the evil Professor Mildeye.
The star-studded cast also includes Stephen Fry, Victoria Wood and Christopher Eccleston.
A BBC spokesman described the new production as "a brilliant and bold contemporary version of this classic tale -- it's the perfect Christmas present".
