Pitt turns out for superhero movie
Brad Pitt and other stars have attended the European premiere of zany superhero movie Kick-Ass.
Pitt, who produced the film, made a low-key appearance dressed in a beanie hat and signed autographs before going into the cinema in London's Leicester Square.
The film stars Aaron Johnson and Chloe Moretz and has been helped to the screen by Jane Goldman, wife of Jonathan Ross.
Goldman, who wore a low-cut polkadot dress, said: "I can't fathom how exciting it is at the moment. The response we have been getting has been incredible."
Ross wore a pair of long black boots with his trousers tucked in to combat the rainy weather.
He said: "Don't you like this look? I think I got it right for once."
Ross, who is quitting the BBC when his contract runs out, joked: "I'm going to be relaxing and let Jane earn all the money. I don't quite know what I'm doing next - I'm not bothered."
The film's plot centres around a young man who decides to become a superhero, even though he has no special powers.
It has already attracted controversy, with some arguing it blurs lines between adult and child entertainment.
Asked about the criticism, Moretz said: "My mum and dad read the script first before I did so they knew exactly what was in it." Earlier she said: "I'm not up for violence but just fun."
