fassbender tipped for fifty shades lead role

IRISH actor Michael Fassbender has been tipped for a role in the film version of Fifty Shades Of Grey.

Universal Studios has hired Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti for the movie version of the hit erotic novel.

The pair oversaw the transformation of The Accidental Billionaires into The Social Network, which got eight Oscar nominations in 2011.

They will now begin the key task of choosing who will play innocent young heroine Anastasia Steele, and Christian Grey, the billionaire businessman who introduces her to bondage.

Kristin Stewart, who starred in the popular Twilight film adaptations, has been tipped by some fans to play Steele.

Possibilities for the role of Christian Grey so far have included Fassbender, Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling, Alexander Skarsgard and Justin Timberlake.
