FFF a spectacular night-time parade inspired by W.B. Yeats will take place over the August bank holiday weekend as part of the 22nd Waterford Spraoi International Street Arts Festival. In anticipation of the poet's 150th anniversary next year, the extravaganza will feature more than 200 costumed performers, floats, special-effects and live music. The annual festival, which includes Ireland's biggest street parade, will also offer more than 150 free street shows.

FFF FOLLOWING the release of his new album, country singer Derek Ryan entertained the masses at the Olympia Theatre over the weekend. The musician was joined on stage over the weekend by special guest Sharon Shannon, and belted out tracks from his record for fans, including hit singles 100 Numbers and Wake Me Up.

FFF REVELLERS will be happy to hear that after their sold out performance here in June, Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott have announced details of an extensive Irish tour in the autumn.

Reuniting on record for the first time since the multi-million selling days of The Beautiful South, the two artists are including a gig at The Olympia Theatre in the capital on October 28. Tickets for concert are priced at €29.90 and go on sale on Friday, July 25 at 9am. Tickets are available for purchase from www.ticketmaster.ie and all usual Ticketmaster outlets.

FFF TODAY the full programme for this year's Dublin Theatre Festival will be unveiled by its artistic director Willie White. A mix of Irish and International theatre productions as well as a series of off stage events such as talks and debates will be included in the line-up.

The festival is on from September 25 to October 12.
