THE cast of Fade Street will be filming a new episode in top city bar The Lost Society on Thursday.

Louise Johnston, Dani Robinson, Cici Cavanagh and new cast member Roz Purcell will be in the South William Street hot spot to shoot scenes for their second series, which will be aired on RTE online.

The cast and crew will be attending the second birthday party of Rock Star Tan, the tanning company of former Fair City star Rachel Kennedy.

•IRISH horse-racing star Paul Carberry will be launching his auto-biography on Thursday, October 6.

The son of jockey Tommy Carberry will be releasing the book called One Hell Of A Ride in the Shelbourne Hotel.

Guests can take part in a meet and greet with the controversial jockey, who was previously suspended from racing in 2009.

•MODEL Georgia Salpa is adding more gigs to her acting career as she has been cast in this year's Cheerios Christmas panto.

Georgia, who split with Calum Best this month, has already filmed an episode for this season of Republic Of Telly and now she will be joining her fellow Celebrity Salon star Alan Hughes for the pantomime at the Tivoli Theatre.

•THIS year's Oktoberfest is still underway in Dublin city.

The German festival is back in Georges Dock at the IFSC this year after a phenomenal attendance of 70,000 last year.

The free Bavarian event launched last Thursday and will continue until October 9.

Guests can enjoy traditional German fun, food and entertainment with over 30 German barmaids dressed in traditional Dirndls.

•IRELAND AM host Sinead Desmond and medical guru Dr Mark Hamilton have launched the new Kellogg's Feel All-Bran New road show.

The TV stars have joined forces with the brand which will travel around Ireland throughout October checking the health of the nation, informing people of the benefits of healthy eating and giving top tips for boosting the fibre intakes in their diet.
