Dundrum Town Centre goes green

Dundrum Town Centre will go green this weekend to celebrate St Patrick's Day. An environmentally friendly green dye has been added to the Mill Pond water in the run-up to the big day and Dundrum Town Centre is asking its Twitter followers to take a picture of themselves beside the green Mill Pond tomorrow,


Sunday and Monday and to tag their tweets #greeninDTC. One lucky winner will have their tweet chosen by the centre next Tuesday, and will receive a €100 Dundrum Town Centre voucher. The Dundrum Town Centre Twitter page can be found on www.twitter.com/dundrumtc.• Tayto Park is getting ready for a busy Easter. Located on the outskirts of Ashbourne, Co Meath, the theme park has laid on a host of activities to attract families over the Easter break. On Easter Sunday, every child that enters Tayto Park and takes part in a special trail will receive a very special Golden Easter Egg.

www St Patrick's Day celebrations will be kick-started at the National Concert Hall tomorrow with Ceili House. RTE Radio One's Ceili House will present a gala concert of the best of traditional music, song and dance with the finest players, singers and dancers. The evening will be headlined by fiddle virtuoso Martin Hayes and guitarist Dennis Cahill, featuring Seamus Begley, Tim Edey and Oisin Mac Diarmada and a superb All-Star Ceili Band from Co Mayo.
