Danielle says sorry for Botox advice to gorgeous Sharon
BOTOX queen Danielle Meagher has apologised for urging Sharon Corr (pictured) to have cosmetic treatment.
The 31-year-old exclusively told the Herald that she was a huge fan of The Voice coach and never meant to insult the singer-songwriter.
"The whole thing was taken out of context, it was a throwaway comment to a friend and I never meant anything by it," she admitted.
"I met Sharon once before and I think she is absolutely beautiful."
Danielle, who hails from Rathgar, said her comments that 41-year-old Sharon should get some lip-filler injections and Botox work to improve her features was not a dig at the star.
"I tell everyone over the age of 31 to have some 'Lite Botox', I even teased Kathryn Thomas that she should get some last week over dinner -- I don't want Sharon to take it personally.
"I agree with Louis Walsh, we could all do with a bit of 'maintenance' now and then."
The blonde beauty, who is gearing up to appear in TV3's new reality series Southside Housewives, posted a comment on her social networking site.
Brunette beauty Sharon has been unavailable for comment, but her fans have been quick to defend her online, stating that the songstress "looked beautiful" on Sunday's opening instalment of The Voice.
Meanwhile, Danielle believes former Blizzards frontman Bressie needs no improvement at all in the looks department.
"I'm not usually a fan of Irish guys, but I think Bressie is very easy on the eye," said the Dubliner, who has previously dated a string of high-profile rugby players.
"Rugby guys cook well and they're always great as personal trainers, too."
The fitness fanatic works out six days a week at the Riverview gym in Clonskeagh, also home to the Leinster rugby team. "It's a way of life for me, I don't drink, I don't smoke and I train hard. I'm definitely not a socialite, there's nothing worse than those women who go out drinking champagne every night."
