Claudine to stay a California girl as Robbie signs new deal with Galaxy

MODEL Claudine Keane is smiling after getting a 'multi-year' extension of her reign as an LA WAG.

The 28-year-old lingerie model will continue to live in Los Angeles for the foreseeable future after husband Robbie signed a new contract with LA Galaxy.

Claudine and the Republic of Ireland striker moved to the US in August 2010 and since then he has become a local hero.

Robbie (32) has played a vital role in taking the Galaxy to consecutive MLS Cup titles and delighted Claudine is set to continue rubbing shoulders with Hollywood's glitziest A-Lister stars.

She took two-year-old Robert Jnr to singer Gwen Stefani's fancy dress Halloween party, she's been having lunch and going shopping with designer and super-mum Victoria Beckham and shared a joked around with Russell Brand at a LA Galaxy match.

A statement issued by LA Galaxy today confirmed that the club are hanging on to Robbie.

"The LA Galaxy announced today that the club has agreed to a multi-year contract extension with forward Robbie Keane," it said.

However details of the deal and how long the contract will last have not been released.

Claudine clearly loves the LA lifestyle and regularly shares photographs of her family and friends with her followers on Twitter.

The leggy model seems content raising her family in the City of Angels and mingling with celebs.

And with Robbie's extended contract Claudine will continue to lead her fellow LA WAG's.

Robbie has scored 18 goals in 32 regular-season games since arriving in America, adding seven goals to his 10 post-season tally.

Keane, who is currently training with Sours in a bid to maintain his fitness ahead of the MLS starting in March, was named in the MLS Best XI for the first time in 2012.

It's a good start to the year for the couple and some good news after what was a somewhat tough Christmas.

Claudine's grandmother Margaret 'Lil' Conway (88) passed away over the holidays.

Claudine is exceptionally close to her family, especially her mum Joan Palmer, who she describes as a sister. Claudine described her grandmother as "a fantastic mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother."

Claudine spent time with her family and attended a few concerts to help her through the grieving process.

The glamorous blonde went to see Mumford & Sons play and described the gig as "amazing" before adding: "Really lifted my spirits after a hard week. Great band."
