AMY Huberman started a trend when she wore a cape to Brian O'Driscoll's book launch last month - and now 'caped crusaders' Ryan Tubridy and Bernard O'Shea have taken notice.

The presenters decided to nick 2fm presenter Jennifer Maguire's black version and pose in it around RTE yesterday.

Ryan wore the cape over a festive navy jumper with red Christmas trees and Bernard (pictured) pulled his best fashion pout as he posed with it over the shoulders of his red polo T-shirt.

Jennifer (31) is currently expecting her first child and followed in Amy's stylish footsteps.

It's not the first time that Amy's style has set off a trend.

The 35-year-old has become such a style icon that the 'Amy effect' sees items selling out after she wears them.

A silver pendant she wore when announcing her second pregnancy instantly sold out after she was snapped wearing the outfit. Now her fellow celebs are hot footing it to Folkster to grab their own cape.
