You'll never see our wedding on TV -- Gerald

LEGAL eagle Gerald Kean has rubbished reports that his wedding to Lisa Murphy is to be filmed for TV.

The Herald can reveal how the gregarious lawyer has said there's "no truth" to claims that viewers will watch him tying the knot as a grand finale on TV3 show Southside Housewives.

Lisa is one of the stars of the new programme -- but the couple have drawn the line at having their nuptials filmed.

"We were approached by several magazines and production companies about them covering our wedding, but I didn't think it was our thing," he said.

He went on to say how the couple, who have been dating for nearly five years, haven't even set a date for their wedding.

Hospital

The Celebrity Bainisteoir star revealed how he's now on the mend after being rushed to hospital for emergency treatment for kidney stones.

Last week he collapsed with pain in the middle of the night -- Lisa rushed him in to Blackrock hospital from their home in Blessington, Co Wicklow.

"I was in absolute agony, it knocked me for six," he continued. "Everyone talks about the pain of them and compares it to childbirth but until you go through it yourself, you have no idea."

Gerald has been following a strict health regime since discovering he has diabetes and has shed over two stone after starting a new training routine.
