Will there be fireworks when Guinness heiress meets her ex at party?

Bumping into an ex never gets easier, no matter how old or how famous you are -- just ask Jasmine Guinness.

The Diary can reveal that Jasmine is due to come face to face tonight with her former beau, Jesse Wood, for the first time in years.

And it seems Guinness heiress Jasmine is less than excited about the prospect of seeing her former flame, whom she first met during her early modelling days in London.

The mum of two, who has been appointed the face of tonight's much anticipated 250th anniversary celebrations here in Dublin, spent three years dating the musician and model son of Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood.

The once loved-up couple lived together in London in the early 90s and were a firm fixture on the social scene, before Jesse moved on to Kate Moss.

Both are now married to other people and have children of their own, with Jesse happily married to Tilly Wood.

The couple have two children and the family were recently chosen as the face of a new ad campaign for Calvin Klein.

Jasmine, meanwhile wed Gawain O'Dare Rainey, the son of Michael O'Dare Rainey and Jane Ormsby-Gore, eldest daughter of the 5th Lord Harlech, at a star-studded bash in Leixlip in 2006.

Nonetheless, it seems the brunette beauty was less than impressed when she heard that Jesse would her here with his new rock band The Black Swan.

"She wasn't delighted, we'll put it like that," said a pal. "They didn't break up under the best circumstances.

"It's been a long time since they've seen each other and they generally try and avoid turning up at the same events. But they've both moved on now and are happily married to other people."

Diplomatic Jasmine declined to remark on the expected encounter, insisting that today was all about remembering Arthur Guinness and not about her.

"I was born and brought up just outside Dublin so I'm really looking forward to getting back and celebrating the 250th anniversary," she said.

"It means a lot to be asked to be the face of the campaign and I hope to do Arthur proud."

Today also marks the first time her ex, Jesse, will debut his musical skills in Ireland.

He is set to play a surprise gig in the window of BT2 on Grafton St at 1pm, before an appearance at tonight's event at the Guinness brewery.

Meanwhile Jesse's dad, Ronnie Wood, is also believed to be joining his son for a song or two in BT2's window.
