Will Lisa and Gerald have TV crew filming star-studded nuptials?

BRIDE-to-be Lisa Murphy and fiance Gerald Kean are considering allowing a camera crew to film their big day for a TV show.

The Diary can reveal how the star couple have been approached by a production company about the possibility of making a one-off programme focusing on the lead up to their wedding day and the ceremony itself.

The south Dublin beauty insists they have not yet made a decision either way and will make their minds up in the coming months as they begin planning their star-studded nuptials.

To date, the couple have decided only that they will tie the knot in Gerald's home county of Cork, with RSVP magazine expected to cover the glitzy social event.

They have also asked that wedding guests make a contribution to a special needs school instead of giving them presents.

"Gerald was approached by a production company but we really haven't decided on anything," Lisa explained.

"We really haven't talked too much about it. We've just been busy getting the last few bits done with the house. We're nearly there now and then we'll start planning the wedding.

"It will be one of those things that will be planned the month before we do it," she laughed.

"All we have decided is that we want guests to contribute to Scoil Triest instead of giving us presents."

Kean, a father-of-one, went down on bended knee at exclusive members' club Residence on St Stephen's Green the night before Christmas Eve 2009, having asked Lisa's father Des for her hand in marriage just moments before.

But Lisa recently admitted that despite a year passing since the proposal, they have yet to start organising the wedding.

"I haven't even started looking for a dress yet, to be honest. We've been so busy redecorating the house recently that it's taken up all of our time."

Lisa went on to explain how she and her celebrity solicitor beau are still in talks about participating in a number of other TV projects.

The NewLisaLife salon owner is also set to make an appearance on tonight's debut episode of TV3's new reality series, Driving Me Crazy.

The Big Brother-style programme will see Lisa join forces with none other than Nell McCafferty as they drive from Dublin to Galway.
