. . . while Amy's back in saucy comedy
AMY Huberman has been given the green light for another Threesome.
TV bosses have said they want to see more of Amy's often funny, sometime cringeworthy bedtime antics.
The actress's star in the UK is set to rise further after her comedy series was recommissioned. Last week she received a Glamour award nod for her role in Threesome and now it appears the series will be making a comeback.
The WAG got her big break in Britain when the hit series aired on Comedy Central last year and now the Cabinteely native can look forward to another successful run on the popular channel.
The mastermind behind the comedy programme, Tom McRae, broke the news on his social networking site.
"So, does anyone fancy a new series of Threesome?" he wrote on Twitter, before adding: "I'm thrilled to announce a brand shiny new series of Threesome will be on your screens later this year. Alice, Mitch, Richie and Lily."
Following the announcement, Amy (32) tweeted to her fans about the news.
"If someone could pop over and administer seven sharp slaps across my face to wake me up I would be eternally grateful," she said.
The show, which was well received by critics and viewers alike, saw Amy take on the part of pregnant party girl Alice, who learns she is carrying a child following a booze-fuelled threesome with her gay flatmate and boyfriend at a birthday bash.
Although her hubby's Irish rugby squad may have lost their opening match of the Six Nations on Sunday, the former Clinic star has been enjoying a recent high in the career stakes.
Not only is Amy up for one of Glamour magazine's prestigious Woman of the Year gongs on May 29 with the likes of comic Tina Fey, the blonde beauty will turn out in her Sunday best to strut her stuff at the red carpet this weekend at the IFTAs.
