Watch out Louis ... Sarah's back
FROM Dragons' Den to music management, watch out Louis Walsh.
Former TV personality and businesswoman Sarah Newman is back in the limelight – this time as a manager to one of the country's most promising musicians.
She has joined forces with accordion star Liam O'Connor, voted the "fastest fingers in the world" by the Guinness Book of World Records.
Sarah was joined by a host of her showbiz pals, including Pat Kenny on Wednesday night, as Liam, dubbed the 'Jimmy Hendrix of the accordion', launched his new album.
However, Sarah said she won't be following in X Factor judge Louis's footsteps because one successful music act is enough for her.
"I think I will only ever be managing one music act, one is plenty," she said.
"I have no idea about traditional music and Liam has been in the industry for a long time so we make a great team," she told the Herald.
The London-based business guru has been working with Liam for one year and the pair have been enjoying a jet setting lifestyle with business trips to the States, Sweden and across the UK.
While she spends much of her working week in London, Sarah was back in the capital this week to help launch Liam's new album, 'Live at Ronnie Scotts'.
A huge crowd descended on Finnegan's Pub in Dalkey for the official launch by broadcaster Pat Kenny, who has been a fan of Liam's music for many years.
"He got up and spoke very passionately about Liam and his talent so it was a great night," Sarah said.
The party continued to Harcourt Street haunt the Black Door where Liam was joined by a host of Eurovision stars at a fundraising event to support Parkinson's disease.
Sarah, who once featured on Ireland's rich list, has been based in Britain for more than a year and is no longer involved with any of her Dragons' Den investments.
"I hardly think about it anymore to be honest, I love to do new things," said Sarah who ended her long-term relationship with Kilkenny hurling legend DJ Carey last year.
