MODEL Tiffany Stanley wants Glenda Gilson's job -- and she's upping her game for a gig on the show.
The Kildare beauty is pulling out all the stops in her effort to land her dream job on Xpose.
The 24-year-old has signed up to a Dublin production school, in her effort to be as famous as her TV3 idols.
"I did some TV production as part of my degree, but there was only a small element -- so now I want to focus on it more," the budding telly star told the Herald.
"Modelling is such a short term thing, you only get a few years to do it before someone younger and better looking comes along -- presenting is where I want to be."
Set to take on two months of work in an intense presenting course in Ranelagh, the bubbly Assets blonde wants to perfect her camera skills and has been looking to Lisa Cannon for advice.
"She is so natural, she makes it look really easy," said Tiffany -- who modelled a series of outfits for the showbiz programme last week.
"It was great because I got to pick up some handy tips, especially to remember to relax on camera -- I still get really nervous when I'm presenting, especially at the start of an interview.
"But after watching Lisa, I know it's all about having confidence, you have to think of it as more of a chat than anything else."
Hoping to follow in leggy brunette Glenda's footsteps, the catwalk queen wants to land a full-time presenting gig, as well as focusing on her modelling career.
"I love Glenda -- she's transitioned so well from modelling, and that's exactly what I want to do."
To hone her skills, Tiffany -- who recently put her plans to move to Hollywood on hold -- will be learning from the likes of RTE veteran Marty Whelan and top producers two nights a week, in between photocalls.
One of the country's top models since taking up a role as Desperate Housewives' Nicollette Sheridan's body double -- she is about to take on one of her biggest shoots yet.
Tiffany is preparing for an exclusive calendar shoot in Spain, which will see her strip down to a bikini for a top secret client.
"I can't say what company it's for, but I'm going over there by myself for a weekend-long shoot. There won't be any other girls shooting for it."
Until a spot opens up on MTV, the aspiring actress is racking up airtime from her regular stint on Kildare TV, and hopes to adopt roles like another Irish stunner, Laura Whitmore.
"I got to interview Laura at the Vogue Fashion Night, and she was great fun -- she's another person I'd like to take inspiration from."
