Vogue's gaga for radio slot
She's bagged a primetime ITV gig and now model Vogue McFadden is thinking of going Radio Gaga.
The chatty broadcaster and DJ would love to host her own radio talk show on 2fm. And Vogue thinks the dulcet tone and timbre of her voice gives her that added edge.
"I have a voice for radio because it's not squeaky and it's pretty manly," she laughed.
"I did a radio slot for Phantom FM and I would love to do more radio over here for RTE or whoever."
And Vogue could be in luck as 2fm boss Dan Healy is looking for new female voices to grace the airwaves and Vogue's husky tones could be right up his street.
The 27-year-old says her experience working the decks as a DJ will also stand her in good stead.
Next month, Vogue will front a documentary all about Ireland's obsession with Summer Bay and Home And Away.
And she says she cannot wait to see the final product. "I'm really looking forward to it. The production company won't show me any of it. So it'll be a it of a surprise. You're filming so much that you forget what you've said and done."
