Vivienne can't wait to return to Carrigstown

ACTRESS Vivienne Connolly is set to stir things up when she returns to Carrigstown in April.

The former model has revealed that she is thrilled to have signed up for "one of the best gigs" in Irish TV.

Vivienne's sexy character Ingrid will be reintroduced to Fair City over the Easter holidays, along with her two fictional children, Clara and Joey.

It is tipped that a stressed and vulnerable Carol [played by Aisling O'Neill] will not be happy to see the beautiful Ingrid return.

Tension between Carol and Louie, who are struggling with a baby, heavy work load and financial worries, is expected to follow.

Vivienne has told the Herald of her excitement to rejoin the cast of the Irish soap. "I'm thrilled to be returning and it's a great way to start off the new year.

"I really enjoyed playing Ingrid and I'm looking forward to seeing what she is going to get up to next.
