TV pals won't see Sinead say 'I do'

Sinead Desmond has revealed that none of her Ireland AM colleagues will be guests at her wedding.

Sinead is set to tie the knot to Davie Ryan in a romantic 17th-century chateau north of Bordeaux in France tomorrow.

And while a whole host of Irish stars have confirmed that they will attend the lavish bash, her co-stars on TV3's morning show will not be able to make it.

Presenters Mark Cagney, Alan Hughes and weathergirl Anna Daly were forced to turn down invitations because they have so much work and so many charity events on.

The couple are planning to hold an "Irish hoolie of a wedding" in the French town of Aubeterre and hope that everyone will up dancing till six in the morning.

"This is the biggest thing I will have ever done in my life. I take this very seriously and things matter more to me now," said Sinead.

But Alan Hughes (41) had to turn down the invitation as he had already made plans to assist in a charity event for kids.

"It sounds like the wedding will be the best of fun and I wish I could be there," he said.

"They're great together - they're just made for each other and I know it will be a fantastic day for them both," he added.

Weather girl Anna Daly, who tied the knot with her husband Ben last year, said that she has shared some tips with her TV co-worker.

"It's such an amazing day and you'll never get it back," she said. "I told Sinead she should take a few minutes out on the day alone with Davie just to enjoy it and take it all in."

"She'll have an absolute ball and I know she'll look great," she added.

Style advisor Celia Holman Lee, model Andrea Roche and Xpose presenter Lisa Cannon have all confirmed that they would be at the wedding.

And the glitzy bash will be documented in glossy VIP magazine for next month.

The bubbly TV presenter has been preparing for her big day since last summer following a near-fatal brain haemorrhage.
