Top models missing from Assets VIP bash

ASSETS modelling agency hosted its annual summer party this weekend but it looks like someone forgot to send the memo to the models -- with many of the agency's best known catwalk queens nowhere to be seen.

Among those who did turn on the style for Saturday's VIP bash at Lafayette cafe bar was brunette beauty Nadia Forde, who left her hunky new beau, rugby player Luke Fitzgerald, at home.

The beauty queen was joined by fellow models Hazel O'Sullivan, Suzanne McCabe, Leah O'Reilly, Tiffany Stanley and Miriam Marabaro.

Model turned TV presenter Glenda Gilson also made a brief appearance, wearing a striking full-length red gown.

The TV3 star was showing her support on her way to the Heart to Heart Ball in aid of the National Children's Heart Centre, which she was asked to MC at the Mansion House.

She later rejoined the group at an afterparty at Bucks Townhouse, where hostess at the venue Michele McGrath rolled out the red carpet for her agency colleagues.

Noticeably absent from the party however was top model Georgia Salpa, who was instead in Galway with her good pals Daniella Moyles, Louise Johnston and Emily McKeogh.

The group, who had partied hard the previous evening at the Miss Universe Ireland finals, had been booked to make a personal appearance at Movida nightclub.

Fellow beauties Sarah Morrissey, Aoife Cogan and Ruth Griffin also missed out on the party due to other commitments.
