Superslim Salon stars spur Abi into shedding a stone

MODEL turned actress Abi Titmuss has revealed how taking part in TV3's Celebrity Salon spurred her to lose over a stone in weight.

The reality star has told the Herald how watching edits from the series, which saw her star alongside ultra-skinny Irish models Rosanna Davison and Georgia Salpa, as well as former Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan Wallace, gave her the push she needed to start shedding the pounds.

DRASTIC

Former nurse Abi (35) explained how she enrolled immediately in an intensive GI Jane military fitness bootcamp programme, which helped her achieve her goal.

"I've just completed the bootcamp and I'm delighted because since the show I've lost more than a stone," she said.

"I look slimmer now than I do on the telly. I was looking at myself on it and I just knew I had to do something drastic.

"I feel so much better now. I've been telling everyone I meet, I'm so sad," she laughed.

Abi showed off her impressive new figure at the show's official launch party at the Odeon bar on Thursday night, where she turned heads in a barely-there green dress slashed to the navel.

The British party girl went on to explain how we will be seeing her feisty side as the two-week series continues, with plenty of ups and downs between the six contestants during the course of filming.

"There's lots of drama, I think people are going to find it really entertaining," she explained.

"There's also lots of pain with our various tasks. People will laugh so much watching the show, it's just so funny.

Great

"You'll have to wait and see what happens. Everyone was great though. I really enjoyed working with them all so much," she added.

Meanwhile it looks like we'll be seeing more of Abi's co-star Aisleyne on Irish shores from now on, with the former Big Brother star set to make a temporary move here later this year.

The glamour model, who has Irish roots, is said to be planning a six-month stay in Dublin in order to build her brand over here.
