Sunday service at Lillies

LILLIE'S Bordello marked the one-year anniversary of its Sunday Service at the weekend, as it was jammed to the rafters with familiar faces.

It saw DJs Steve O, Al Gibbs and Sexy Dexy taking to the decks to blast out the tunes for attendees, which included model Jenny Lee Masterson.

wwwFORMER Miss Ireland Holly Carpenter is out to prove she has brains as well as beauty after signing on to TV3's Celebrity Mastermind.

Former Justice Minister Nora Owen will be taking on the role of quiz master in the new programme as she puts some familiar faces through their paces.

But gorgeous Holly, whose special subject is the works of Vincent Van Gogh, will have some stiff competition on the programme.

She'll be going up against 'Memory Man' himself Jimmy Magee alongside Today FM presenter Anton Savage and celebrity tailor Louis Copeland as they compete to win €5,000 for charity. The first of five heats, the show will air this Sunday at 8.30pm.

wwwTHE red carpet will be rolled out at the Savoy cinema tomorrow night for the premiere of Five Year Engagement. And one of the stars -- Jason Segel -- will be jetting in especially for the opening night.

The Knocked Up star will be coming in to add some A-list sizzle to the event. Other names on the guest list include Fair City's Aoibheann McCaul, Jade Yourell and Kelly Donnegan alongside Sarah Morrissey, Michele McGrath, Hayley Ryan, Alison Canavan and Roz Purcell.

wwwTHE X Factor may not even be back on our screens yet, but producers have already confirmed that they'll be bringing the tour back to Ireland next year. The show, starring our own Louis Walsh as longest-serving judge, has just started filming for another series.

And fans will get the chance to see all the contestants in action next year when they take to the stage at the O2 Dublin on February 25 followed by Belfast's Odyssey Arena on February 27. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, costing from €40.05.
