Sundance stars go back to black as youngsters dazzle in classic colour
THE Sundance Film Festival has always been the cool kid on the A-list events block, so it's no accident that the fashion choices of those attending make us sit up and take notice.
This year black dominated -- you may think it never went away but just think back to last week's Golden Globes and the avalanche of white dresses that graced that particular red carpet.
It was all a shade too pale for our fair Irish skin, but now Kate Bosworth, Kirsten Dunst, Julie Delphy, Traci Lords, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Leslye Headland and Allison Janney have all gone back to black to promote their respective movies in Utah.
And it has to be said it was the young bloods Bosworth and Dunst who stole the show.
The former turned heads in a sheer, knee-length LBD with net and lace detail to preserve her modesty, while the latter opted for a more casual approach, choosing a black mini dress, opaque tights, ankle boots and a snug looking jacket with fur trim.
