Style icons Rosie, Christina and Michelle are honoured by Elle
MODEL and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was named the year's top style icon at the Elle Style Awards.
The 24-year-old Transformers star accepted the award at the glamorous ceremony in London which also honoured Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks and Sarah Burton, designer of Kate Middleton's wedding dress.
Huntington-Whiteley was last year named the world's sexiest woman in a magazine poll.
The 5ft 9in model -- presented with her award by Jerry Maguire star Cuba Gooding Jr -- was honoured by women's magazine Elle alongside fellow Burberry model Eddie Redmayne, who took the best actor title. Designer Burton, who won acclaim for her work on the royal wedding in April 2011, took the international designer of the year award, presented by Naomi Campbell.
Red-haired TV beauty Hendricks, who plays feisty secretary Joan Holloway in hit show Mad Men, was named best TV star.
The best actress award went to Oscar-nominated Michelle Williams, while Isabeli Fontana (below) won best model.
Downton Abbey scooped the prize for best TV show.
And Florence Welch, of Florence And The Machine, was named best music act.
Guests included Christina Ricci, Jessica Chastain, Pixie Geldof and Dizzee Rascal.
