Sizzling Anna is our hottest weather girl

TV3 star Anna Daly had plenty to celebrate last night after being voted Ireland's hottest weather presenter alongside RTE's Daithi O Se.

The blonde beauty explained how Daithi, who is set to join Herald columnist Claire Byrne on the small screen to co-host RTE's Daily Extra next month, was extremely generous with his advice after she started her TV3 role two years ago.

And now the presenter, who has since joined the Ireland AM team as their roving reporter, admits she would love to follow Daithi's lead by landing her own show some day.

"Daithi's great, I have a lot of time for him and I couldn't think of anyone I'd rather share the award with," she told the Diary.

"I know it's just a bit of fun but it's a nice accolade to get all the same," she added.

"We're always joking about our shared bond as weather presenters so now that he's moving on to bigger and better things it's a good omen."

Glamorous Anna also came out as best dressed female weather presenter in the survey, which was carried out by irelanddeservessun.ie, followed closely by RTE's Nuala Carey.

The star, who has just returned home from a romantic getaway to Portugal with her hubby Ben, explained how she will celebrate properly tomorrow night when she and her TV3 colleagues enjoy a night on the tiles to mark their autumn launch in the morning.
