SHOW Hopefuls move in together

SINGING hopefuls on The Voice will be sharing bedrooms as well as the stage next week, as the live rounds of the series kick off.

The contestants are packing their bags to move into a north Dublin apartment near the Helix theatre in DCU and will be living together for the duration of the talent competition.

Hopeful Gari Deegan (inset) told the Herald that those who don't live in the Dublin area are setting up camp in the new digs to save them the hassle of making the trip up to the studio every week.

"The production company are putting up all of us that are from around the country in the apartment from Monday, so I'm heading up on Sunday and I can't wait, it'll make things a lot easier."

Next week's instalment introduces the opening round of the live shows and will see both Brian Kennedy and Bressie's teams perform first, followed by Sharon Corr's (right) and Kian Egan's hopefuls the week after.

Gary dated Miss Great Britain Gemma Garrett (inset right) in 2008 for several months. But Gari, who called off the romance when a photo of Gemma with Russell Brand surfaced, insisted they have remained friends.
