Screen star Spacey on way here for festival

OSCAR winner Kevin Spacey will be visiting Dublin next week to take part in a once-off screening of one of his most popular films.

The Usual Suspects will be showing in an abandoned warehouse in the docklands area of the city as part of the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival.

Mr Spacey (below) won an Oscar for best supporting actor for his role as Roger 'Verbal' Kint in the film, which is being screened by the Jameson Cult Film Club. It's a new feature at this year's festival which "aims to give movie fans an experience highly relevant to the film's theme, genre, set or storyline".

After the sceening the American actor will give an on-stage question and answer session about the film and his recent work.

More than 120 films are being shown at cinemas during the festival, which started last Thursday and which finishes on Sunday, February 27.
