Sara quits Assets for Andrea's firm
ANOTHER top model has walked out of Assets and into Andrea Roche's modelling agency AR.
Just last month Assets top earner Georgia Salpa left the company to pursue a career with Andrea's newly established agency, and now the Diary can reveal that press-call favourite Sara Kavanagh has said her goodbyes to the agency that catapulted her to stardom.
Speaking to the Diary, Sara said she felt it was time for a change. "I've been thinking about it for a good while, it's not a decision that I just made. I'm excited about working with Andrea and I know a lot of the girls there now. I have been with Assets for over seven years, that's such a long time and I wanted something different.
"I think all the girls that have moved went for their own reasons but I just wanted a change. Assets took it well and I hope we can remain friends," she revealed.
Sara will now be joining top models Rozanna Purcell, Pippa O'Connor, Emma Waldron and Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model contestant Hannah Devane.
Other models that made their way to AR this year include Fade Street's Louise Johnston and RTE Bulletin TV presenter Daniella Moyles.
And although Andrea's agency is top for high fashion, Sara says she will always remain a press-call girl. "No, I would definitely not do that, I'm anything but high fashion. I still want to do press calls, that's my market and I will always stick to that," she said.
This will surely be a new blow for Assets owner Derek Daniels, who has now lost five models in the space of a month to AR. However newcomer Holly Sweeney, who is known for being the ex of golf ace Rory McIlroy is set to give Assets a boost this autumn when she begins her modelling contract.
