ROZ Purcell pulled a Kanye when she launched herself onto the Smirnoff VVIP stage.

The model made her opinions known when she heard that snake fan Emma Quinlan had bagged the Power Couple of The Year Award.

Emma is currently dating NASA engineer Bobak Ferdowsi  and looked over the moon when her name was called out.

But before she had chance to thank the Smirnoff VVIP judges, Roz dashed to the stage and grabbed the microphone.

"I'm sorry," the Tipp native said. "I know I'm pulling a Kanye on this but this award definitely deserves to go to Anthony Remedy and Corina Gaffney."

Anthony Remedy created the Smirnoff VVIP Awards and is one of the brains behind BITE restaurant. He is engaged to Fashion Editor of Stellar and Kiss magazine, Corina.

After declaring her admiration for the couple Roz darted back to her seat while Emma left the stage.

It's the last year of the Smirnoff VVIP's, which poke fun at other pretentious award ceremonies.

INSULT

The room was packed full of socialites, models, blaggers and bloggers on a night filled with lewd jokes and confetti canons.

Buzz O'Neill and model Daniella Moyles fronted the show and made sure to insult as many Irish celebs as possible.

Voice of Ireland judge Bressie took to the stage to perform a rendition of Addicted to Love with Roz, Emma Waldron and Louise Johnston posing and pouting as his backing singers.

Bressie took home the VVIP Award, while Roz nabbed Ride of The Year. Kathryn Thomas was devastated when she lost out on the Party Girl of the Year title.

"I'm gutted," she told the Herald. "I was robbed."

Love/Hate's Aoibhinn McGinnity and Peter Coonan presented an award together, while Laura Whitmore showed up at the end of the ceremony with celebrity stylist Darren Kennedy.
