Round two as Twink tells all to Brendan over spat

PANTO queen Adele King is set to reveal all about her now infamous spat with Linda Martin on Brendan O'Connor's The Saturday Night Show this weekend.

The Herald can reveal how the performer, better known as Twink, will take the hotseat after her former friend fuelled their vicious row just last month by dishing the dirt on their argument on the same programme.

Twink is officially due to appear on the show to promote her new play Grumpy Old Women, but admits she is ready for whatever questions the outspoken broadcaster throws her way.

"No doubt he'll bring that up," she said when asked about the former Eurovision winner. "It's been blown out of all proportion. As far as I'm concerned what happens in theatre stays in the theatre building.

"I'm in this building, the Gaiety, for 56 years now, believe it or not and if I had one red dime for every row and every name I've been called over the years, I'd be a very rich woman now.

"I'm just totally bored of it all now."

Adele says she has already warned Brendan that she won't hesitate to put him in his place if he crosses the line.

"When I was on to the researcher the other day I said tell 'tell that little pup that he better behave himself'," she explained.

Writing in the Herald today, Twink has also spoken about her delight that she and estranged husband David are now on great terms.
