Rebecca hopes to bring her X Factor to reality show Tallafornia

DUBLIN singer Rebecca Creighton is hoping to make an appearance on the new reality series Tallafornia.

The X Factor star grew up in Tallaght and revealed that she's hoping to get a guest starring role in the upcoming TV3 series.

"I would love to be on it, Tallaght is my home town but I haven't got a phonecall yet. But it sounds like a cringe, really, so I'd have to see what it's like," she said.

Rebecca (22) revealed that she and her Belle Amie bandmates Sophie Wardman and Esther Campbell are hoping the TV crew will film them gigging in the Tallaght nightclub The Playhouse.

"We've played in The Playhouse twice now already so it would be cool if they could film us there," she said.

However despite being one of Tallaght's most talented exports, Rebecca admitted that she's not too sure what the response to the show, which is set to replicate Geordie Shore, is going to be like.

"I don't know how people are going to feel about it. I think everyone from Tallaght will definitely watch it but they will cringe. I love watching The Only Way Is Essex, but people from Essex get so embarassed.

"And Tallaght is really small too, I know the male stripper who is going to be in it. So a lot of people are going to recognise the characters," she explained.

Despite living in London full time with Sophie and Esther, Rebecca said she would like to spend more time with her family.

"We were back in Dublin just two weeks ago. We played the RDS for the Share A Dream Foundation. We want to get more involved with charity foundations, and I would love to do more in Ireland so I can come home more often.

"We played The George and The Plaza recently and we will be back again in two weeks time for a show on FM104. We have lots of promo work to do and we are starting a school tour soon," she said.
