MODEL Pippa O'Connor has revealed her delight that her brother Cian O'Connor is to get another shot at Olympic gold.
The showjumper has been handed a last-minute place on the Irish team seven years after being stripped of his medal from Athens.
Pippa told the Herald today that Cian has "worked so hard" for his chance at redemption in the London games.
O'Connor's gold medal was taken from him by the sport's governing body after his horse, Waterford Crystal, failed a drugs test.
He has now been handed unexpected late call up after Denis Lynch was dropped.
Lynch's horse Lantinus was disqualified at the recent Aachen Show after failing a hypersensitivity test.
Pippa told the Herald she was "absolutely delighted" for him.
"He's worked so hard to get here so it's great to see him get this opportunity," she said.
She is now hoping to make it to London to see him compete in the Games.
