Our latest models ... but you won't see them in bikinis on Grafton St

ANDREA ROCHE has some stiff competition in store -- there's a new agency in town and they only want high-fashion models, not the usual press-call, bikini-clad types.

"We're looking for more editorial and show-based models, with the natural look," said owner Anne Morgan.

Absolute The Agency has already made a name for itself overseas. "It's all going very well, we've had great response so far," said Anne. The Dalkey girl -- a former Assets model -- decided to set up shop after she set up a modelling school to prepare hopefuls for the catwalk. "We noticed that all the girls coming inl were very natural and tall - that was when the idea for an agency came up."

Anne was 21 and 5ft 4in when she joined Assets and did a lot of jobs on the press-call circuit, however she wants her proteges to venture in a different direction.

"I really enjoyed it and it was great fun, but I want my models to do high fashion," the 27-year-old told the Diary.

"The press call work makes the money in Ireland and the girls are beautiful, but I wanted a niche with my agency.

"My models are all above 5ft 8in and don't wear fake tan, they're young and naturally beautiful -- I don't believe in changing them."

But it wasn't until she met 16-year-old beauty Juudit Siibak that she finally got the ball rolling with Absolute The Agency.

Estonian-born Juudit lives in Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan, and is making waves in the industry, despite being still in secondary school.
