Oh oh, it's turning ugly as Georgia hits back at Gillian's photocall jibes

Georgia Salpa has hit out at model Gillian Quinn, who claimed that photocall models have a shorter career life than catwalk models.

"She does a lot of photocalls herself. I've seen her do quite a few with her daughter so I don't know why she would say that.

"There are a lot of girls doing lots of different types of modelling.

"I do all different stuff, not just photocalls," she said.

The leggy half-Greek beauty is one of the capital's busiest working models and told the Diary she had no plans to ditch the agency that helped her carve out her career.

"I'm not moving anywhere. I'm doing really well and I have no complaints with Assets," she said.

And you can join her on a typically busy day with Assets -- only in tomorrow's Dubliner magazine in the Herald.

Georgia said there was no truth to rumours that she and best pal Nadia Forde (21) were seriously considering joining Andrea Roche's new agency.

"No I'm definitely not. I get on really well with Andrea and I wish her huge luck. I haven't spoken to Nadia about the rumours but I don't think so," she said.

Georgia is heavily booked until the festive season ends, but she is already planning her next holiday after a girlie trip to Morocco.

The sultry brunette left her boyfriend, Dublin DJ Barry O'Brien, at home -- but insisted they are more loved-up than ever.

She hit the sun-drenched beaches in Agadir and admitted she fell in love with the north African country.

"I loved it. The food was incredible and the weather was fantastic. I didn't go with my boyfriend; I just went with two friends. We had a great time," she said.

But now back on Irish shores, the 25-year-old said she was busy with modelling work as fashion shoots and campaigns for Christmas begin.

"I have something big coming up but I can't talk about it just yet because it won't be confirmed until next week," she said.

After spending her second consecutive Christmas in Dublin rather than in Greece, she will be ringing in the New Year with Nadia and fellow pal Sara Kavanagh, as well as their other halves, in the Big Apple.

The group are set to fly to New York days after Christmas and are no doubt planning to hit the sales while they are there.

Meanwhile, Brian Ormond and Pippa O'Connor are set to return from their spell in Manhattan today.

The couple, who will wed next June, were there on an all-expenses-paid trip courtesy of the National Lottery.

Fashionista Pippa used the opportunity to shop till she dropped as well as visiting family.
