Now Nicola joins Andrea as battle of the agencies hots up

THE BATTLE between Dublin's main model agencies has hotted up even further with another defection.

Aspiring top model Nicola Hughes has left Assets to join the books of Andrea Roche's agency.

The Sandyford native claims that she has landed herself more work.

"I was with Assets for over a year and then I moved to Andrea in April. I've been doing loads of work with her, it's brilliant. I'm definitely getting more jobs, 100pc," Nicola claims.

"It's all similar stuff, but more broad and I'm doing things I've wouldn't have been getting before as well, so it's great," said the petite Dubliner.

The 22-year-old has been modelling full time for two years and hopes to have a winning career like Killiney girl Georgia Salpa in the future.

"Georgia's lovely, she's so gorgeous. I'd obviously love to do bigger and better [like her]."

However, Nicola admitted she won't be tinkering down the reality TV route if her new boss suggests it.

"I don't think I'd be right for something like Celebrity Big Brother. I don't really have the confidence to do it, but you never know. I just don't think people would like to see me 24/7 to be honest.

"But I definitely would like to venture over to the UK and get an agent there. I haven't looked into it yet though."

The bubbly blonde will be enjoying a jam-packed weekend thanks to the arrival of Formula One star Jenson Button.

An ambassador for Bavaria, Nicola will be working flat out over the weekend while the famous F1 drivers are in town for the Bavaria City Racing extravaganza.
